I'm a Guinness man myself... wish there were more choices for a good stout in the states though. God, Ireland was the best!

'85 300D. 225,000 miles and counting again! AMG Pentas, Euros/clear corners, VDO Boost/EGT guages in center vents, A/W IC in progress, Liberty VNT turbo soon.

'93 Ford F-250 7.3L IDI N/A 217,000 and still counting, it's gonna rot around that nice engine

'64 Ford Falcon Futura hardtop 2 door with a '68 302... not grannies old 'Coon

^^^^^^^^

Mouth watering????????

Incidently, Guinness is better now that none is brewed in London. Water from the wiffy Liffey was always better for the job.

+1, brother.

Try homebrewing once....find a joint near you, and get the stuff. Not too expensive to start. "Brewer's Best" Stout, done as instructed, is pretty damned fine.

My Father had a wine cellar, but for some reason I never got interested enough.

I am no expert on stout, but I prefer Murphy's to Guinness, maybe with a shot (or two) of Knappogue
Castle. BTW, Trader Joe's carries Murphy's.

Yes, particularly with fish, but I was imagining more along the lines of shablis with camel steaks.
