Oh, one friend works for the transit authority--Metro. You know, that's how liberals and other communists and terrorist sympathizers get around town. But we know better, don't we--we waste as much fuel as possible, otherwise the terrorists have won.

Well, given that, how do you explain a political philosophy that promotes the extension of government. I would think that by this time in your life you would understand how the world works, unlike the Obama groupies who long for someone to save them from us meanies.

Has anyone here been more vociferous in his opposition to the $10 Trillion National Debt that your hero is leaving us with?

It's much worse than taxes, as Bear has pointed out, because we get less than nothing for it. It's just money down the drain, or more accurately sent to bondholders overseas so that they can own our children. This is Republican Policy. You're welcome to it. Just please, take it somewhere else.

As anathema as tax-and-spend is to me, it's far more desirable than borrow-and-spend.
