I got four of them critters, trust me I know
Two of them actual jump on my shoulder to tell me that they want to go out with the dog in tow. Traffic in the street goes into a halt once they spot that scene; I always get a kick when people ask me how and why is the cat on my shoulder and stays there like parrot.

Do you have at least one scratching post that is accessible to her all day? If not, you may want to purchase one and save your furniture.
See, now there's one I always got wrong. I was always certain this was the cat's way of asking to be thrown from a third story window...

No, they liked it -- they used to sing all the way down.

^^^ I feel exactly the same way about cats. I'm going to try to find a suitable award, and nominate you for it. Job well done.
