My wifes big chest

Look what my wife got for 20 bucks. The thing is large, approx. 3'x4'x2'. It appears to be Chinese by the metalwork. It is ancient (notice dovetail work) and has the smell of really old wood. The hinges are quite crude and appear to be handmade. If it is a knock-off, they used very old timber that's for sure. Anybody have any info on this great garage sale find?

Such pieces were made famous by Xing Ho III. He locked up one of his wives in it and wouldn't let her out until she agreed to suck and swallow. Works like a charm, I tell ya. heh, heh.
