Pakistan enjoys the full support of Saudi Arabia just as Israel enjoys the full support of America, but America can't survive without Saudi Arabia, at least not for now. Saudi Arabia has just too much money in our economy. We would collapse. I'm not worried at all about Pakistan. After all it did well on its own in the time period from the end of the Russia-Afghan war till 9-11 when American had basically used Pakistan as toilet paper and threw them away. Actually Pakistan has also learned its lessons regarding support by America. It was also during this time, WITHOUT America's support that Pakistan became a nuclear power. Even if it does become a totally Islamic country from it being a moderate Islamic country today, you pretty much can't touch a nuclear nation. North Korea anyone?

Follow the below ANALOGIES:
Saudi Arabia : Pakistan
United States : Israel
Saudi Arabia : United States

Neither country has oil or any significant natural resources. No worries as far as pakistan is concerned as it can always "sell" nukes for cash, something US and Israel can't afford to happen, so therefore

United States, Israel, & Saudi Arabia : Pakistan

Pakistan is not about to play the "sanctions' game again. Been there done that!

Uncle Sam is walking down a dirt road and has Isreal, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan with him. He comes to a river and sees a boat for crossing. However, only he and one other can travel in the boat without sinking. If he takes Israel, Pakistan will nuke Saudi Arabia. If he takes Pakistan, Saudi Arabia will starve Isreal for oil. How do they all get across?

PS: The boat is not named Iraq.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

Drown Israel. First US should take Pakistan across, then come back and take Saudi Arabia.
