Yes, the president just commuted the sentence of a man who could have been a witness against him in a criminal trial. It is a blatant act of ethical depravity. The Constitution clearly needs to be amended to prevent presidents from doing this. It is a Carte Blanche for them to break any law with impunity. This president sets one precedent after another for getting away with criminal and unethical acts, and Republicans like Botnst and Bruce R are dying to make up the next excuse or "Clinton did this" line of horseshit. I have never in my life seen any group of people like this collectively lose their moral compass. The only comparison I can think of is to Hitler and his Nazi fuck sticks. This act is an act of treason.
