I bought the car back in 98/99 with 55,000 miles on it from a dealer in Dallas while looking for a 911. He sold it for wholesale since he didn't normally sell that type of car. The car already had the Blitz rims, and other appearance items already done. To good a deal to pass up.
I put an extended warranty on it and then continued to drill them through my Toyota dealership for a total of about $14K in repairs including two new factory turbos, valve stem seals, gaskets, the list goes on and on..... Once that was done I took it to two different tuners and had the intake, exhuast, BOV, etc. upgraded. Nothing to the extreme. Car was putting down about 420 HP at the rear wheels.
Really enjoyed the car up till the end. They do hold their value well, but I knew it was time for it to go otherwise I would loose out on the opportunity to sell at a higher price. The dealer actually helped sell the car by showcasing it on the showroom floor.
