How about a little perspective, here grasshopper? You sure like to chortle about this
In the larger scheme of things, this is frivolous.
The Iraqi rebels, using Saddam's playbook, torture people by using electic drills to drill holes in their skulls, let off rounds into schoolyards where teachers and children are standing, use Iraqi children as hostages and to deliver bombs "Just point it at the Americans and flowers will shoot out at them"
THOSE acts, evidently unpunished, go on daily and appear to be utterly premeditated and barbaric. You can't say that honestly, about US and British troops. They are laboring under a terrible burden, and performing as well as they can, to try and maintain peace, rebuild, and root out the rterrorists.
Those Iraqi and terrorist goings on are far more widespread, and barbaric, and UNREMARKED, than the odd American excess, like this one (which is likely to be dealt with severely)
It's way past time for the Americans and the British troops to disengage from this mess than Blair and Bush got them into, and come home.
The coalition of the drilling is a joke, Capt. Thach's and other's sincere efforts notwithstanding.
Are you by the way, an Indian or Pakistani who immigrated to London?
I've just finished reading a book called "Londonistan" written a few months ago by a man who was Pakistani, and wrote a really engaging look into the life of young Pakistanis caught in the culture clash between modern day England and the culture they left behind. Definately worth a read, it was really, really good, especally about the effects of interracial dating and the effects of that.....
