It'll be interesting to see if he gets it to stick.
It will prove to be more ammunition for the Republicans when the next Democrat gets into that office.
Funny thing is, it has been the Congress (both branches) in the past that have released more classified information out to the public and our possible enemys then the Executive Branch ever has.
Seems that they killed a bunch of submariners when they let the Japs know we were able to dive 300 feet lower then they thought we could.......
Now they want to make sure that there is good security in the Vice Presidents Office.......

Dick Cheney will get "sick" in a timely manner. I bet he gets a heart attack and his doctors will warn against any mental or physical stress and he will just waive around his "doctor's note."

Let see, Cheney has like a 14 percent favorability rating, is probably the most hated politician in America, and you say attacking that fucking rotten son of bitch will give the Repigs ammunition? You're fucking killing me man! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHHA!!!!!AHAHHAHH!HAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA~!~!SHHSHI TTTT....

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

^ I believe you missed his point, which as I read it, is retribution from the GOP after a Dem is elected POTUS next year.

Well, that's even funnier. There won't be any GOP left after next year. Their whole party is imploding over immigration issue, it's as if Bush wants to destroy it. All the RWNJ sites I troll on have nothing but talk of abandoning the GOP. Bring it on!

With Congress having a 14% approval rate (the same as the most hated man in politics as I recall) I doubt that there is a lot of love out there for the "do nothing except feather my own nest" Pelosi House and the "Mr. Excitement" Harry Reid Senate either. Neither one has proven to be much of a leader have they…
Pelosi promised a lot, but has shown herself to be more self serving then a servant of the public, while Reid hasn’t shown much of anything except how to put people asleep. Do you really think the public is happy with them and the rest of their so call representatives. If you think that this last election was a cart blanch to allow the democraps to do as they will, you are making a big mistake. The losses were to show displeasure with the Republicans and what they have done to that point. We’ll see what happens in the next election, don’t count your chickens before they hatch.

If only that were possible!

But those two damned festering putrescences rebound no matter how they're lanced. It's because their fanatical supporters care more for accruing power to their parties than anything else.

The biggest problems we are facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all and thats what I intend to reverse.
