I read a bit back that the analysis showed that because of the wide fuselage of the plane, that helped it act like a lifting body, much like the shuttle, with the thrust providing some extra handling help. And most of that is WELL BEFORE fly by wire.

That was just amazing big hairy balls flying.

I did not know that Israel was the first foreign power "allowed to buy it" but I am not surprised since they are our closest ally in that region and they are about to help us with Iraq.
Anyone knows when Iraq will be handed over?

At that speed I was stunned he dropped the tailhook; probably lucky it broke off.
