ARAB COUNTRIES

The Pakistani military's close ties to the nations of the Middle East are based on a combination of geography and shared religion. The closest ties are with Saudi Arabia--a sporadically generous patron; much of the equipment bought from the United States during the 1980s, for example, was paid for by the Saudis. The smaller Persian Gulf states also have been sources of important financial support. The flow of benefits has been reciprocated. Beginning in the 1960s, Pakistanis have been detailed as instructors and trainers in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, Libya, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates. Pakistani pilots, sailors, and technicians have played key roles in some Persian Gulf military forces, and Arabs have been trained both in their home countries and in military training establishments in Pakistan.

Accept the inevitable and sit with your wet tails between your legs......Iran will attain full Nuclear (warfare) capability without either US or its stooge middle east 'partners' being able to do "shit-all" about it
You are right that Iran becoming Nuclear warfare capable is inevitable at this point. They have done a great job playing a number of politicians and getting the time they needed.

All the hand wringing and whining in the West is not going to do a damn thing to prevent it.

Not a pleasent thought - those whack jobs with Nuclear Weapons.

Another thing what we in the west fails to realize is despite the quarrels that the Islamic nations may have between them they definitely will always get together to help each other in time of need as Muslims are a "Muslim nation" FIRST and THEN individual nations. How can one fight a people who go to the war fields WANTING death. (IRAQ?) It is not wise to underestimate a people who own/have approximately 70% of the world's resources. Maybe all that is needed IS IN FACT a military "mistake" by Israel to get the whole Muslim world together again to form another lethal "Islamic Empire." All hell would break loose then and I suspect this actually may happen in our lifetime.

2 - Isreal is surrounded by enemies. A number of which have sworn to wipe the country off the map. The combined armed forces greatly exceed what Isreal could bring to bear (minus Isreals Nuclear option).

So how do you figure that the region needs to be built up to Isreal's level?
The number of armed forces are no match to single nuclear weapon that Israel has although it has never come out and said it. If all countries around it also had nuclear weapons then it is a big deterrent. (Pakistan may be nice enough to just provide them one day, who knows? Read my above posts as to how Pakistan has helped the Arab nations in the past ). Nobody is stupid enogh to ue them but it makes the field a little level. Example: India and Pakistan. I do agree with #1 and it is a very good point but even then Israel would have to stay out of it.

I do not know how you think arming the rest of the ME with nukes is a good idea nor why a deterrent of that nature is needed.

Personally I would not underestimate the stupidity of people nor would I count on some of the countries over there not using Nukes.

Remember a number of Muslims want to die. They think there is no greater service than to marter themselves. There have been Fatwa's issues saying that the us of WMD's is perfectly acceptable, authorized, and blessed.

Then lets look at all of Amedijans statements - Iran will destroy the west, Iran will wipe Isreal off the map. Then his desire to hurry the arrival of the 13th Imam signalling end times. His statement when a jet liner crashed into Tehran killing a number of civilians that they made a wonderful sacrafice for the Irainian people, the rest of the country could learn from their martydom.

You really want this nut to have Nukes?

You do make good points but the fact of the matter is that this nut will get them regardless of what we may or may not do. A preemptive strike by Israel or the USA would be disastrous and not doing anything will be as well. Goes to just show us that Bush just did not have his priorities straight when he invaded Iraq to get even with Saddam. He should have been looking at North Korea and Iran and should have sent the whole military into Afghanistan instead and taken care of the real problem. Just another argument FOR Iraq's natural resources that this bastard really went after.

Thumbs up Eat your hat (and shit as well!), Botnst!

Most impressive portfolia of FACTS designo!

DO NOT UNDER ESTIMATE THE PAKISTANI AIR FORCE. NOT A SINGLE LOSS IN BOTH OF ABOVE CONFLICTS! There are probably hundreds of retired fighter pilots that would love to get a chance to fly again IMO!

Masha-allah.....Pakistan - Zindabad!

Pakistan - Iran in cahoot for a long time over the Nuclear Development Programme, tricks learnt from the Imperialist Bast*ards have been put to good effect!

Russia, India and China coming into play as well - whayya say the formation of the new "Alliance" - food for thought!
