Warning to Apple Users about Safari 3 Beta

Don't download it and install it. It will corrupt your frameworks files and disable Apple Mail, iTunes, Installer, Safari, Dashboard and others. I just got through cleaning up my system and restoring files it trashed. It doesn't do this to every computer but it does to most. This is an unexcusable problem caused by Apple and it makes me wonder if Apple is getting too involved with pleasing windows users and the iPhone to give a shit. If anyone already has done the install and is experiencing problems, I'll tell you how to fix it.
As of this morning, Apple is still offering this dog of a program with no mention of the problems it causes.

Safari 2 works well enough for me that I wouldn't have considered it - not on a system that's important to me anyway.

Beta stands for Better Expect Troubles Abound. Lessons and scars from being an IT professional...
