Dont' worry, Be happy!

According to expert opinion expressed right here by a self-proclaimed former army officer, old chemical weapons are not a serious problem. For goodness sake, don't read the MSDS on these chemicals. They aren't factual when it comes to munitions. Something extraordinary must happen to them that makes them harmless when stored in sealed artillery and bomb casing, but that's unspecified.

Send a note to that dumb-ass dolphin and tell him he died of athlete's snout from sticking his nose where it didn't belong.

Go back to what you were doing and ignore the man behind the curtain.

Well the ones that we have here in Kentucky are sure starting to be a problem. We have had four leaks of VX in the past year and two mustard gas issues. The Army still can't figure out how to destroy/move/hide the stuff. Apparently the Pentagon has a history of not having Plan B. Plan A was to deposit it on people. Plan B...not so clear.

The stuff in Iraq that was in the empty shell casings that we found as "evidence" of WMD on the other hand was neither all that special nor dangerous in the WMD [MASS being the key word]. It had been destroyed per UN or dissipated out into the atmosphere to where the remaining residuals were nothing more than identifiable chemicals.

It would be interesting to see what the dumping studies have to say about 40,000 tons of crap in the ocean. On the one hand you could argue that it would dissipate out to about 1 part per zillion in the ocean and the ocean chemicals would change its chemical structure BUT on the other hand, WE EAT FOOD FROM THAT OCEAN. Makes the Red Lobster special not so Fn special.

Being smart is knowing the difference, in a sticky situation between a well delivered anecdote and a well delivered antidote - bear.
