I wish . . .

Last night, travelling back from dinner on the interstate, one of those little ricer Jap cars with a loud muffler (ie - dunno why they call it a muffler, sounds like the champion of a farting contest) took great pleasure in zipping up and around myself and several other vehicles, farting past us, slowing down, then farting past us again. Made me wish I was in the 500E, I'da seen just how tight he could wind up that rubber band.
That is all, over.

Ha! I know how you feel. Last week I happened upon this ricer (btw, the 'mufflers' are referred to as fart cans as you noted). When the light turned green I was listening to the engine wondering how hard it was working. He was in 3rd gear when I was still in 1st....in the minivan. It was hilarious, he was getting passed left and right by minivans and semi trucks.

He needed to be shown the tail lights of a real car, but I'm afraid the company vehicle (Ford Explorer) wasn't the place to be.

My favorite are the ones with the unpainted body kits. The 2 fast 2 Furious series created a whole generation of slowly mobile misguided, tasteless fucktards.

Yeah, nothing sexier than a primer colored wing on a bright blue car.

Hell I even beat a ricer Civic in the ML.

I don't get some of them though. They're already brainless, but one tried to egg me on in a construction zone while there were workers out.........

There is a 90 something supercharged Accord Coupe setting on the side of I-75 with a large patch of oil that streams about a quarter mile behind it near the Tennessee border on Jellico Mountain if you want to see how a 500E can assist in winding them up. Their hamsters get winded around 140 or so.

By the way, Fred was good on Leno this evening. Seemed with good pace.

When the engine let go, did the sound echo?

I'm just a singer in my own mind.
