GOP Debate

Giuliani sounds more and more loathsome to me with every word that escapes his mouth. The man just strongly implied that he wants to bring democracy to the world via any means necessary.....

The one guy who really hurt himself tonight was Romney. Incomprehensible babbling and sloganeering -- very little substance. The man seemed completely unprepared. Giuliani played well to his war-mongering base, and further put off everyone else. Tancredo, Paul, McCain and Huckabee helped themselves, IMHO.

Best consistent response from the audience -- Giuliani and Paul.

Not a big fan of the questions CNN chose, and you could tell they were soft-balling some guys and hard-balling others. Also, I'm getting a bit tired of hearing the same Iraq positions again and again. I'd really like to see future debates focus more on domestic policy (other than immigration).

I did not see that tonight GS, so thanks for the update. IMHO, no one the GOP nominates has a snow ball's chance for the presidency anyway. What we are seeing are a lot of Republican candidates wasting a ton of money. Just so we understand each other, I am a registered Republican.

The only way the dems could lose this one is if Fred Thompson grabs Colin Powell and creates a third party. I kinda like Paul, actually.

CNN viewer poll currently has Ron Paul as the winner with a staggering 53%.

Amazing. It won't take much more of CNN / FOX News / etc. ignoring him for 'news media' to lose what's left of their credibility.

We are now starting to see the Rudy that so many in NYC hated as he was leaving office prior to 9/11.

Except for Paul, every last one of those jackasses wants to posture as the bigger warmonger. Pre-emptive nuclear strikes! They have no shame.

I really believe Giuliani is in a league of his own in that department. But they're all status quo, don't rock the boat guys, that's for sure -- except for Paul, of course.
