Have we been owned?

U.S. economy's fate in Saudi hands - MSN Money

"
Saudi Arabia is running the U.S. economy.
I'm not sure the Saudis want the task, but they've got it. Because the United States still doesn't have a national energy policy, we've thrown decisions about how fast our economy grows and whether our standard of living rises or falls into the hands of Saudi Arabia's oil ministry."

And I was worried that we were the property of China
Allright Jayhawk, I guess I will not worry about you giving a tour of Lawrence KY to a bunch of Chinese red army generals since now it seems like you will be dressed up like Lawrence of Arabia to please the upcoming surge of shiekhs that will be buying us out. Are you going to perform a belly dance for them? You know that most of them are kinky don't you?

Interesting article Drewprof. This is further Off-Topic but I don't fully trust the Saudis. They claim to be our friends, and do provide a lot of room for our military installations in the region, but I just don't have that warm fuzzy feeling about them. I also don't have any hard evidence that their motives are less than honorable, but I don't think those would be too difficult to find.

I don't trust them either, more than any other country on the planet, Saudi Arabia bears responsibility for the 9/11 attack.

They want our women Musikmann and I am worried that Jayhawk is going to make himself super rich by pimping them out. He is already inline with everything Bush does which is all part of this plan anyway

I thought it was in China's hands.

Or Mexico's.

I'm so confused.

But Jayhawk thinks our economy is in fantastic shape. Look at his Stock Market thread. He says our economy is in flying colors.

So who is right? Our Government or our bird brain and his cohorts?

Could I please ditto you again tonight? The first time was about the GOP presidential debate that I missed. I think with a little research, one of us could uncover Saudi complicity in the 9/11 attack too. And that is not because Osama bin Laden's family has/had highly visable ties to the Saudi royal family, I think it is a little deeper than that. IMHO, they have financed some of the Al-Queda operations in a very clandestine fashion.

Of course they have, and they've nurtured an environment conducive to extreme hostility toward the West. Most of the hijackers were Saudis, as is Bin Laden.

Seems that way to me too GermanStar; it's always nice to agree with someone on OT. I'd much rather encounter someone with whom I agree, than someone with whom I must argue.
