Once again I have purchased a car I did not want or particularly need. This time a '71 Mustang convertible from the original owner. Nice, garaged car with around 80k on the odo, 351, average options. WTF. I do not even like that body style, too big for a 'tang. I have three cars in one of my parking garages eating up space that should go to tenants. I have one sitting in a friend's driveway with the dash out (3000 GT Vr4.) Two at my parents house, one in the garage and one under a boat port. One in my garage in HP and four indside in S Fe and two outside. Ugh.
My next question is why do people just give these cars away for so much below market value? It gets to the point where you cannot say no, you when you tell them how to advertise it, where to, and what to expect to get. Even when you tell them your offer is far too low. I don't get it.
I want a bus pass, or a mechanic who is really attractive, damn near free, and can house/dog sit.
