At least someone from our Government has decided to show up for this issue. If Bush had not had Exxon's hand up his ass for the past 6 years maybe she wouldn't have had to Speak for the people who elected the Majority.

^The American people have charged the current majority party with a single task -- which they shamefully dodged and shirked to the detriment of those who elected them -- f*ck 'em!

I agree, somehow the intoxicating farts left by the Republicans when they left their offices has poisoned the new arrivals and turned them into weaklings and spineless jellies

Can't argue with that. Catch a rerun of this week's Bill Maher. He pretty much nails it in one.

Tomorrow I will be at a local event where my Demo Congressman that I have lunch/dinner with about once a month. I plan on 1)getting his input as to what the F they were thinking and 2) giving him shit.

My only thought is that they decided to just give Bush the monies he requested to fund troops and then use that[he is CiC, we funded his poor plan against our better judgement] as a point in the 08 election.

Yes, he did.

'Welcome back, Carter' was so funny:

Not really a big shot eating at a pizza joint with the local congressman who has been eating at Joe's he was in college. I have been eating there since I retired in 86 and moved back to KY from AF life. So it really is more like two customers of Joe's that eat at the same restaurant a lot of the time. We have very good conversation and debate [a hallmark of Joe's since he opened in 1973].

I also talk to Ashley Judd when she and Dario are in town and eating at Joe's. Is that a problem?
