Had a similar problem back when we did a little truck farming. I think I got this from Jerry Baker:

Cup of human urine
Half cup of Castor Oil (even rabbits think it tastes terrible)
Half cup of Amonia
Couple of Tablespoons of Cayenne Pepper

Put it in a hose-end sprayer and spray the perimeter a couple of times a week, more if it rains. Don't laugh. I too had a helluva problem and this works!

That's to hide the taste of the US strawberry imports to the UK.
Those Yanks!...they over urinate on all their exports.
