Well, it is raining here today, we are supposed to get enough rain to see some flash flooding. I will be getting in the car for a trip to watch my oldest son graduate from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute tomorrow. He has earned a BS in Electric Power Engineering, with a minor in Business. He has a job starting in the end of August, but may actually end up getting an MBA instead, at the behest of RPI's business faculty. Dad can't really afford to send him to graduate school so the faculty better cough up a scholarship and a stipend. My youngest son just completed his first year at Purdue.
I would rather be planning a drive in clear weather as this plan calls for changing my wheels and tires today, on my car and my daughter's car. Most likely in a downpour. Outside. Cold, wet and generally a pain in the hiney.
I could also be a bit busier. Started my own consulting company a while back and am just getting into a bit of a slow period. So my work related stress is from having uncompensated (directly) proposal preparations and negotiations replacing billable efforts, or even preparing invoices (another unbilled, but very enjoyable business activity).
