Depends on how Asian I am that day. Some days my contacts bother my eyes, so they're a little more squinted than usual.

You made a comment that led me to believe you are from Viet Nam. If that is so, I think you should be damn glad so many thousands of US soldiers died, and were maimed, to salvage that totally worthless country of "yours".

If you are Japanese, FU. If you are Chinese or Korean, I admire your people. If you are Thai, Cambodian, Laotian, or Mongolian, I have no opinion.

I'm over 90% Chinese, the rest I'm Vietnamese. So...how do you mix the two opinions together?

I was born here though, btw.

Good question AML, and I don't have a good answer for that. I like the Chinese people, and I have told several of them who are here, that I admire them. They are a hard-working group (not that the Vietnamese are not) but Asians are quite intelligent, as you are my friend.

I guess the bottom line is this: the USA has become complacent because we think we are the Holy Roman Empire in modern times. The fact of the matter is, that we have become lazy and are resting on our laurals. That stuff has got to stop, because the rest of the world is eating our lunch!

The ethnic Chinese in Vietnam were often historically mistreated, as I recall. I think discrimination forced them into a separate area in Saigon called Cholon, but I'm not sure of that.
