Looking on the Republican side, Rudy will do OK until the primaries heat up and the NY Unions start talking about how he ran NYC. Most people snapshot Rudy from 9/11 and use "he cleaned up Times Square" as major indicators but many people in NYC hated the man while he was in office. I lived in NYC from 97-01 and if the national press starts on his personal and business life like they did before 9/11, he will be toast.

McCann is folding by the day as he backs Bush in an effort to seize the Mighty 28. Newt might come in but I think he will be surprised that people actually remember his ethics issues from his time in Congress. Unless Thompson comes in Romney stands the best shot, Mormon or not. I think people are more open minded about religion than beltway pundits give them credit. Remember they said Kennedy could not be elected as a Catholic. And no way could a divorced person get elected[they say]...everyone that is a contender on the Republican side is divorced.

On the Democrat side, it is either Obama or Clinton and either would have a hard row to hoe if it were not for the biggest gift in the world...Bush. His last eight years make either one of them more electable than most any Republican.

Lets see, I can vote for the inevitably gutless and incompetent Republican boob or I can vote for the inevitably arrogant and corrupt Democratic boob.

But I think I'll just do what I usually do and vote for the inevitably clueless and insignificant Independent boob.
