That's why I run three browsers. Mozilla for generic stuff, Netscape with no java, no popups, no cookies, basically nothing enabled for unknown sites and IE for the rest. From my experience BW seems to run best on Mozilla. I tend to think of IE's security as better than the other two so that's the only one I use for online transactions.
Nice catch on the personals thing, but it was just a guess. In the real world, we actually had a user file an official request to fix a problem on the work PC; seems when he went to a particular dating site he got some errors and IE would crash. Needless to say we didn't fix a thing and his supervisors took a rather dim view of his work activity. DOH!
