I have eaten at Ruby's several times and it has ZERO to do with race. Jeff is a straight up guy who caters to very high end clients. One of his best customers is Muhammad Ali [who has his Museum and Ali Center just a few blocks away] Muhammad Ali Center - Muhammad Ali.

Ruby's deals with professional athletes all the time with the Louisville Slugger factory just down Main and his restaurant in Cincinnati that caters to the Reds and Bengals athletes.

Ruby just decided that he didn't want OJ in his restaurant. That is his right. He didn't turn Michael Jordan away 10 minutes later.

People have been infatuated with killers since Jack the Ripper. Why all the hatred for the Juice Man? Go see Naked Gun again, you'll love him to bits.

Dunno...two innocent young people are dead, a jury found him liable, he's promised to (vigorously, I thought) look for "the real killers", but hasn't paid a dime to the families as required by judgement in a court of law.

Maybe he was looking for the real killers at Churchill Downs, and at Ruby's, with 11 or 12 of his private investigators.

He's a motherfucker the likes of which we've rarely seen, even in America. That's why we hate him.

You're talking to a guy who gets upset when "It" doesn't rub the lotion on its skin.

I was in Louisville for Derby weekend and their Courier Journal was full of stories about the celebs in town, OJ being one of many. The GF and I have been to a lot of the finer restaurants there, but never to Ruby's. I think I'll suggest the place the next time we're going out.
