I've given it up for the time being. Classic burnout. Motorsports is correct though, I was a regular at Texas and Las Vegas Motor Speedways for all the major functions but mostly I dealt with horse tracks. The client at the speedways requested very boring food which we were not accustomed to. The only thing that stood out was a smoked brisket quesadilla with avacado cream and the huge truck-drawn smoker that we used to do the brisket, that thing was amazing. Our big competitor at hte time was Finish Line but we actually combined with the company to let them provide the labor and equipment while we basically did planning and execution.

It would have been fun [albeit WET!] I am going to be trying to put a Benz meet together later in the Summer with a tour of the Mountains, a Bourbon Trail Tour and tie into one of the Races at Mid Ohio. It's too hard to try to build an event around the Formula One.

That might be a time to get everyone to wander to the Bluegrass.

How did you guys do in the weather last night? I saw one town much closer to the OKie border got blasted.

I was there in 2002. Other than security I thought it was a nice place. That was the year after retirement and I ended up doing all three races of the Triple Crown, Breeders Cup, Dayton Air Show, SEMA, NAB and 14 motorsports races. I was worn by November.

We had no weather here, but some little town far away was destroyed.

Don't believe everything you think

I have never been at the race but my students rave about the Preakness and how they are going to get trashed in midfield. I don't get it!
The only sports I like are soccer, fishing and car racing because at least I can participate in those. Oh my wife and I like to go shooting clay and other targets
