Rights are not equal because the participants are not equally vested. Of the three (post-birth), the man is the least vested, thus has the least rights. Of the two (pre-birth), the man is the less vested, thus has less rights.

The idea of a man forcing a woman to carry an unwanted child to term and give birth is at the very heart of the anti-abortion issue.
