99% of the news about the economy is good, but 99% of the posts here dwell on the other 1%. A person would have to be deaf, dumb and blind not to see all the good news, but to read most posts here you would never know it. Bad News (mc)Bears!

^^^Hey I looked myself, trying to help you out and the only thing that I saw on Bloomberg was that the US Dollar had strengthen a little against the Euro but I do not think that is going to last either as there have been several predictions the Euro may hit 1.45 by the end of this year. Personally I predicted a couple of weeks ago in 1 thread I suspected 1.40 by the end of 07.

I don't worry about the dollar, especially against the Euro. W/ the booming global economy a weak dollar results in greater corporate profits for most multi-national companies, which is just about all companies now-a-days.

Problem is Jay, with the dollar sinking in value like that, is China and the Saudi's still going to be happy and content with shelling out their own currency to buy the US Bonds each month to finance the budget and the costs of the US govt.? If the economy starts to fall the FED will have to loosen rates and then the value falls even more, who will buy the bonds each month?

Except for the 83% of all American businesses that are classified as Small to Medium sized.
