Anyone in/around Columbus?

Just got an e-mail from Travelzoo, SKYBUS airlines is doing some pretty incredible fares to/from several cities so long as you're starting from or going to Columbus.

I've visited there from the bay area and always had to fly to a larger airport and take a regional jet or puddle jumper to Columbus, now I can go nonstop for $100 -$125 RT. Not a bad deal at all. If you're closer to Columbus at one of the cities they serve, some roundtrips start at $20.

I've not heard of them before, but hopefully Skybus takes care of their aircraft, but they probably get their maintenance tips from the OT forum.

If youse are interested, it's Skybus

Columbus, what? You mean like, Ohio?

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

Only 2.5 hours from Columbus. That sure beats Cinci for prices.

With your connections to the industry, McBear, do you know anything about these guys?

I just called a friend that will know something. Hopefully he can find out. My guess they bought out some bankrupt airline and their gate slots at a good discount.

Heard about them today on the news. Interesting, Columbus airport is about 90 minutes from my house. I fly Continental out of Cleveland (Platinum level) but am willing to try some $20 flights!
