We had an intelligence failure that helped lead to this attack, and I give the Bush administration high marks for recognizing that fact and effectively dealing with it. I really don't think I'm the one who looks biased here, Bruce. Perhaps you can explain.
The only "failure of intelligence" here is yours, my friend...

First off, I don’t blame anyone other than Al Qaeda for the attack, that’s a figment of your fevered imagination. I blame others for allowing things to get that far when they had the opportunity to do something about it
There is absolutely no way that you can make me believe that you are that dense, but just to revive your apparent lack of memory.....
Bin Laden is the head if Al Qaeda. Clinton was basically handed Bin Laden by two separate countries, he refused, publicly. He refused even though he knew Bin Laden was more than just a “problem”. He was well aware that AL Qaeda had attacked the US Embassies, the Cole, the first attack on the Towers. He treated these things as police affairs and not attacks on the U.S., he knew, and did NOTHING. That was just plain STUPID. He did NOTHING to bolster internal security, and in fact threw in roadblocks. He did NOTHING to improve border security, and again basically all the things you accuse Bush of. And no, I didn’t vote for him, but one would think you might have surmised that by now…..
Fact is, I haven’t seen you give Bush high marks for anything, all I have seen is you “rag” on him and his people, perhaps one step behind FoTL, but just one step, and with a cleaner mouth, but still one small step.

How do you tell the good guys from the bad guys, they come in all colors and nationalities in case you didn't notice..... Most don’t have Al Qaeda written on their foreheads.
Not rocket science at all. Seen the list of 9/11 terrorists?

It's so simple: Racial profiling, like excluding every Mohamad Al-Shopliftah from 15-60 years of age would probably work.

Anyone professing Islam - KEEP OUT! to get the Richard Reid shoebomber types.

Not politically correct, but it would work. Remember the relocation camps for the Japanese Americans in World War II? It's been done before. I'm just saying...

And a SECURE border, too - but that is another subject.

I wish it was that easy..... The liberal media would have a field day with those comments. Wait until FoTL starts one of his rants, and starts by calling you a NAZI and goes downhill from there...........

I have before and just did again, but rather than focus on that common ground in an effort to carry on a civil conversation, you choose to ignore it and insult me, without any provocation whatsoever. I can tell that you really like to argue Bruce, but I really don't. I would much rather seek common ground and understanding.

And once again, I neither care about nor voted for Bill Clinton, yet here you are holding him out as a point of contention, as if he has anything at all to do with the fact that the Bush administration decided to invade Iraq as a response to 9/11. That and the curtailment of American freedoms is what I condemn the Bush administration for. If you don't like that, that's just too bad, but I won't insult you or question your intelligence for holding a different opinion. I am as entitled to my opinion as you are to yours, sorry if that disappoints.

And I'm still a little fuzzy on how I'm the biased one here...

Quite the contrary, I think they are all excellent ideas that have merit. Since you think in terms of pinko commie fags, you know little of real Democrats, who have little use for foriegners. No, Nazis are those who support a Hitler-style invasion of a country that did not attack us, people like you for instance.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

You can't even make a single sincere comment that has the appearance of being unbiased without subsequently watering it down, then drowining it in a flood of conditional phrases and contradictory language.

You claim one thing in the first half of the pair of sentences above. Then begin your denial of your own statement with conditional phrases lining up your next barrage of partisan bickering with yourself for having typed the first half of the first sentence.

by the way, you might want to read the details of these "platters" as our CIA refused to sign on the dotted line, and without that signature Clinton would have been guilty of using the position of Commander in Chief to assassinate people he wanted to do away with merely because he wanted to do away with them. You may wish he had done that now, but at the time I am nearly certain you were one of the "tail wagging the dog" GOP minions chanting the attacks on Bin Laden ordered by Clinton was to distract the perverts and voyeurs in the GOP from speculating about blue dresses and blow jobs.

Either you hold Al-Qaeda responsible or you don't. You say one thing, devote all of a dozen or so words to that statement, and then counter your own statement with a whining, squealing, bleating blurb of nearly fifteen times as many words revealing your true feelings. Which can be summed up as "Blame Clinton." You have provided an unwanted insight into a troubled mind, obsessed with Bill and Hillary Clinton. You need some help to get over it. Seriously, Cho. Jim

Yes, leave that all to me, Bruce, you stupid fuck.
