well i believed a business man should run the country. I didnt know he was nuts, that was revealed later. I still want a strong business man to be president, but i have few choices thus far.

Believe what you want. Conservatism is about smaller central government and fiscal responsibility. The current administration is the most liberal of my lifetime, and that by a wide margin. I don't know where this so called conservative GOP base ran off to, but they're nowhere to be found. I ran off to libertarianism myself.

They have to set some line to make those who make less feel better that the 'rich' are being penalized for being 'rich' but lets face it, 6 figures today is hardly rich and its 7 figures / year one should strive for, but leave it to the Dems, its harder and harder to get there.

now that i'm 'rich' i can employ many and those many can pay many taxes and some day they will be penalized because they worked hard and now they too are 'rich' and hated

when i was young and a democrat... i never employed a single person and barely paid any taxes. i think i'd rather die a 'rich' hated republican than be born young, poor and a loved .
You do know that statistically there are more “rich” Democrats than there are “rich” Republicans don’t you?

When I was young and poor, I was a hardcore Democrat.

But, the hypocritical partisan spin finally spun me out of orbit.

Now I reside in some libertarian/socialist/commie-pinko netherworld, just this side of Tralfamadore.

I dont know if that is true nor do i care... i just know that the dems, when given the chance, make it very hard to maintain wealth and try very hard to spread it and i'm sorry if this offends, but socializm does not work and i will fight them every step and every time 'they' try to spend 'my' money! I will give to charity as i see fit, but be damned if i'm forced to.

Well, unfortunately communism does not work.

So far the only accepted by me model is a liberal capitalism.
