Aw, man this sucks. those guys normally come to Louisville to Kick off our Derby festivities for 'Thunder Over Louisville.'

Very sad news coming out of SC today...Luckliy the Pilot survived but sadly someone else lost there life.

Yes I saw that on CNN.Early reports I heard was that the Pilot ejected safely,sadly thats was untrue and false.very sad.h

those pilots are the elite of the elite. They spent countless hours perfecting their craft, and there is a strong sense of honor and pride that accompany them.

I remember the crash of a Blue Impulse plane (Japanese aerial acrobat team) - the pilot could have ejcted to safety but did not since he made sure that the crash would not involve any casualties on the ground. He steered the craft to the best open space (rare in Japan) he could find and crashed the plane there.

I'm sure the Blue Angels pilot did his best to avoid any collateral damage from his aircraft crashing.

Sad loss indeed.
