I have no idea what that means.

I do. And I have noticed...

I don't care for O'Reilly or Rivera, but both have made $millions doing what they do--whatever that is...

I spotted this as “most watched” on GooTube today. It could only have been better if they had added Rosie, Rush and Frankin to the table. I would pay good money to watch that unfold. Of course Joe Franklin as moderator [danger, oxymoron there]
It could have been better if they'd gone out to the parking lot to settle it... Or stayed in the studio to do it.

I watch FOX when I want TV news that is fair and balanced. International Radio may seem "less political" to you because it is vehemently anti-American--more in tune w/ your thinking I guess.

Can't you convey all that mindlessness with just one post?

That line will work well in your routine. It needs good pacing but I think the laughs will be there.

And remember they are laughing AT you, not WITH you. That keeps you away from the razorblades later on.

This calls for a poll concerning where we get our news.

For instance, I get most of my news from a combination of my local paper and the Google News website that is my home page. Most of the rest I get from BBC & NY Times online. That's what I would call straight news.

For commentary, I look to this site, primarily and secondarily at another site. Folks who post political/social opinion here are hardly worse than the overpaid pundits on TV, radio or in the papers and news mags. In many instances I have seen better reasoning here than by paid pundits, especially from folks whose opinions I oppose. A big plus online is the feedback -- ideas can be tested in the crucible. That is only partially true of traditional media. Does anybody think that Jonothan Alter or Rush Limbaugh give a poop what we think of their opinions? And given that those same opinions are often expressed here, it allows for rebuttal and testing of ideas.

I often watch MSNBC and FoxNews at lunchtime as I like Nora ODonnel (who appear's porking-up to Limbaughesque proportions, BTW) and I like FoxNews straight TV coverage. You can keep their op/ed folks.

It doesn't matter. On one hand, you have your retarded neocons. They're worthless and a huge pack of liars. On the other hand, you have your degenerate demonrats. They're mostly gay men and lesbian women.

All politicians sux. They all steal your money and ACT like we work for them. No, they work for us.

F em.

Shee-it! You and I get our "straight news" from almost the exact same sources--who knew? My only addition to that list would be NPR, of course.
