Hey, CLK man.

Hope you're on the mend, things are so much better now medically than they were 15 or 20 years ago, the meds they have really help in the wake of the stroke. Back then you'd probably still be unable to speak, etc. Strokes are usually in older folks but they aren't even rarely seen in the 20s and 30s. I had a client (26 y.o. woman) who died of a stroke when she was only 26, and another client (middle 30s) who had a serious stroke, took her years to regain a "normal" life.

Just more reminders that our time on this planet is all too short to begin with, and there are lots of things that can shorten it even further.

I am sorry to hear about all the stress factors, if you can find time (without adding to the stress) and don't mind preaching, a good counselor can often really help things along.

Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg

Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. (Winston Churchill)

Make sure you take some time very serious time off. Even when you think you are just fine, continue the time off thingie. Also when your neurologist recommends Physical and Occupational Therapy, make sure to take ALL of it.

You don’t have listed where you are from but if from the South [since you did mention Fight, Dog and Truck] you have one Hell of a Country song started there. Take care of yourself.

Country song?
I almost can't mention his using "minuet" and "handel" in his post.

I do hope he is well, and his family is also well!

Wow! You need to chill, my man. You're too young for that stuff. Have a couple of glasses of red wine, relax.........and just listen to music:

YouTube - Billy Squier - The Stroke

YouTube - Juicebox - The Strokes

Sorry, couldn't help myself. Seriously....Take care.

Hi Mcbear I'm about 35 miles southof you in lancaster ky. I've talked to you about meeting up with you at james motors in lexington. Everybody's advice about getting plenty of rest was correct. I felt good when I posted earlier and now I feel worse I slept several hours today and felt great we i woke up but after bieng up for 4 hours I really tired again. I'm going back to bed.
P.S. the other main stress is our business we have a printing & Sign business that is very stressful I think CMITCH can attest to that our customers think we are miracle workers
but after 20 years it has taken it toll on us.
