Europe and More importantly Gemany's economy would suffer a HUGE blow if we were to pull our military out of their country.

I for one, have always enjoyed the irony that faith-based religions must rely on a lack of proof in order to exist. If god were to provide irrefutable proof of her existence tomorrow, faith would become irrelevant, as would the religions that preach salvation through faith.

A man with faith in his heart is not a bad thing , but misplaced faith and the eagerness to defend it can make a man as evil as evil can be . Religion is only a stepping stone to those on a path to enlightenment , step over it or get over it but never stand still .

Faith, in and of itself, is neither good nor bad. The object of that faith is another matter altogether...

And I enjoy those who don't believe and the arguments they propose. Proof to many is the Bible and history of those that have existed documented outside of the Bible or book or whatnot of their choosing. To prove that Jesus is the son of God(or a prophet) would be impossible to prove today and many believe that God doesnt need to provide irrefutable proof for someone to believe. I for one don't have the answers for what your looking for, but that won't stop me from believing. Sorry.

You seem to have missed my point. Irrefutable proof would mean the end of your religion. Faith can only exist in the absence of proof, and Christianity is a faith-based religion.

Your points must be hard to understand the first time around as most everyone on this board has missed your point lately!

Yes faith is an absence of proof in todays world. And in everyday life we have faith in many things, be it family friends or our government in different aspects all with certain goals in mind. But we have those faiths based on the history of those entities regardless of the length of time we have experience with one or the other. I agree with some of your statements, I have said it before. But because something may be based on faith, doesnt make it wrong or ignorant.
