I think coal is going to be a BRIDGE solution, not something that has a long [hundred year] lifespan as a fuel source. Besides the environmental issues with coal there is the health and safety issues that will come from more mining. China is running into this problem right now as they try to adapt their mining industry to 21Century production with 50 year old technology and processes.


Being smart is knowing the difference, in a sticky situation between a well delivered anecdote and a well delivered antidote - bear.
