Wow, that Vista is really knockin 'em dead.

Microsoft discounts Vista 10%, but restrictions apply
March 22, 2007 (Computerworld) -- Microsoft Corp. yesterday unveiled a second promotional deal for Windows Vista consumer and small business users, allowing them to buy additional licenses at a 10% discount over the suggested list price and upgrade as many as five more PCs.
Pretty soon, Steve Ballmer will come to your house and fellate you if you agree to buy enough Vista licenses. I'm sure he figures it's better to suck a dick than to get fucked in the ass by that bull in front of the NYSE on Wall Street.

Don't put the taps on your tennies, just yet Jay. Vista has been in development for over 5 years. When OSX shipped, it had been unshelved, developed and released in 2 1/2. The OSX he so gleefully mentions WAS NEVER RELEASED! OSX v 10.0 was a developer version that was wrought with problems. These problems were corrected and OS v. 10.1 was released. You will see that Vista released to developers over a year ago. It's so the developers can help find the deficiencies that will help fix it. Vista is a UNIX based OS just like Apple's OSX. If OSX and UNIX is such shit, why did Microsoft choose to go that route? Vista had better be rock solid if it had been in the developing stages that long.
