The new Bug's are cool but I'd still prefer a Real Bugatti...

Atlantic Coupe anyone?

Very cool video.

407 km/h, or 253 mph.

Oh, and even at $1 1/4 milion for the Veyron - the Atlantic is valued at a multiple of that.

Regards,
Axel

And while the Veyron will likely depreciate all the real Bug's will appreciate;-)

The Royale has even the Atlantic beat.. A fellow @ the end of WWII traded a refrigerator and some other odds and ends for a Royale..not bad eh?

The Veyron won't depreciate - it's a limited number of models built per year (approx 70 per year).

The car is absolutely one of a kind - 8 litre W16 engine with 4 turbochargers and 10 radiators......

An what other production car can compare ? 0-200mph in 22 secs and 250mph to standstill in 10 seconds.

If the McLaren F1 were raced against the Bugatti Veyron, the McLaren can be allowed a headstart to reach 120mph - at that point allow the Bugatti to begin and the Bugatti will still reach 200mph before the McLaren !

Limited production vehicles with unique features like the Bugatti Veyron never depreciate.

The Yeyron is Ferdinand Piech's baby. A hard act to follow by anyone, whether Ferrari, MacLaren, or Porsche etc.
It's like saying:, 'try to top this.'
While at Porsche, he was responsible for the Porsche 906, and on of the greatest racing machines of all time, the 917.
He was the guy running VW. From his time at Audi, we had the Quattro, and the involvement with racing / rally's.

BTW. Ferdinand Piech is the Grandson of Ferdinand Porsche, and Son of Louise Piech, Ferry Porsche's Daughter.
By the company statutes, no Family member can be involved in running the Porsche Family business.
Owning 13% of Porsche, he could have chosen a life of leisure instead.

I'm fully aware of it's performance, spent the other day looking over one of their sales brochures.

IMHO if all the other super cars are any indication it will.. The F1's have sold for less then their original price..
Given some years when there is something new/fresh on the market these won't be the absolute 'it' car and I'm sure will trade hands for less then they cost.
