Any members in Italy?

Just curious, I'm going there on vacation in the not-too-distant future, Roma, Firenze and of course the land of the Grand Canal, with perhaps a side-trip to Bologna to visit the Ducati factory. Hey, DR, you want to pop over and tour the plant with me?

Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. (Winston Churchill)

Are you going alone or taking the family? If alone take the train and pay the lowest fairs so you can meet up with some awsome chicks from all over the world. Don't tell them you're American though, but Canadian is OK.

Off-Topic, but this is the correct place for that isn't it? I think you'd like Germany a lot better - I was in both countries during my only trip to Europe, and there is no comparison!

Funny!

Believe it or not, the word is wops. A friend told me that it actually is an acronym for "with out papers" so I guess some of the early Italian immigrants were illegal

I liked the art and the food, but in 1977, they did not like American tourists, so I had my problem with the populace also.

That's because you're a typical waste of space American. Who in the world has time for you.

I stayed in Milano and took side trips to Verona, Venezia, Firenze and Cortina. I wanted to visit Roma, but I ran out of time. I have an internet friend in Bologna named Sergio, but he dropped out of the forum we were both on a few weeks ago

Don't forget about the Ferrari factory, wherever that is.

Have a nice trip Greg!
