Her selfishness is demonstrated by her repeated arrogant, disrespectful behavior during events like the State of the Union - watching her is like watching a spoiled debutante sitting through her older sister's wedding.
If she can't stand up for herself, I've no idea how we can expect her to stand up for the rest of us. For this reason alone, she's unelectable.
Cuban, that was dripping in irrational hatred of Hillary without any real justification. What politician runs for President, and conducts a competitive campaign, is not at least equally guilty of being selfish, and able to tolerate personal pain and embarassment instead of having a public breakdown that would ruin any future chances of a career in politics, or being self centered? So far all I hear is a chant of "she's a bitch" without any justification. The fact she "stood by her man" for the good of the country and her husband's legacy at a time of terrible personal pain would be lauded if it was, for example, Laura Bush.
Now I am not a Hillary supporter, mainly because I think she is going to be dragged into the sewer by the opposition - people who consider themselves "conservative" and would like to reduce government spending, but who, for purely political gain are willing to support the likes of Ken Starr spending tens of millions of dollars hounding a President over fabricated charges of having unfairly not lost some or all of his $43,000 investment in a land deal in Arkansas - and never get a chance to win the election on the issues and her vision for America. I also think it is nonsense to start a Presidential campaign this early - this will be a war of attrition, and while Hillary has shown she has guts and determination, it is not clear she can survive another 18 months of ever increasing personal attacks.
In my view her role should be to draw out the irrational and obviously hate driven right wing nuts, confront them, and goad them into stripping away the thin veneer of civility they cloak themselves in, and make it difficult for all self respecting, slightly right of the middle of the road and left people in the voting population to be other than repulsed by their tactics of lying and fabricating, distracting with non-issues, and dividing along lines of prejudice and hate.
