What do you think is better Mercedes or BMW

I have a friend who thinks Bmw's are the best cars, everybody including me tell him Mercedes is much better, so i wanted to show him this Thread to prove Mercedes is the best.

BMW -- I'm sure everyone else on this Mercedes forum will agree.

My advise: DON'T show your friend this thread.

OTOH, here's something your post reminded me to remind you:

Apples and oranges, and has been discussed countless times. I have owned seven BMW and liked them very much.
IMOP, a BMW is build for a more active drivng style, and will tempt you to drive a bit faster, instead of cruising.
I used to frequently drive from my German hometown to visit friends in Amsterdam / Zandvoort.
On this 324 Mile trip, city center to city center, incl. a border stop, my fastest time was 1 Hr. 58 Min.
While this was a lot of fun, I would do the same trip in my Fathers Mercedes in a more relaxed style, and probably lower pulse.
