He did not plan at all, which is the problem. He assumed (or actually the VP assumed) everything would fall into place once Saddam was gone.

As for the war being for someone else to end, he’s said that on many other occasions in an effort to justify the war as a component of the overall struggle against terrorism. And it became necessary to link Iraq with terrorism when he realized everything was not going to fall neatly into place.

Such is the folly of nation building.

Just got a newsflash on TV that six American soldiers have been killed in an explosion in n. Baghdad this morning. No further details yet.

Nah DR, all is quite on the "front" on WOT according to the "know it alls". Winter is almost over and I am sure that spring will bring feelings of just giving up by these people that are oppositing our "democratization" of their country. Why do they hate so?
