That is more fictions than facts. Please don't even make me embarrass you on everyone of those points. I am not in the mood.

Maybe our boys should take off their uniforms and fight the war in pants-down-to-their-knees, and sideway baseball caps. Just for good measures, throw in some rap music. We can call it even.
Really? I thought you were smarter than that.
Where is it official policy to commit mass murder?
Where is it official policy to commit rape?
When have we used biochemical weapons? Oh, you mean tear gas?
Yeah, reference KV for your unimpeachable source of information. Now there's objectivity personified.

Tell me again how much you love the way the Islamists embrace the Geneva Conventions. 'Splain to me about 9/11, Daniel Pearl, etc. Better still, get your master, KV to do it for you.

Not my country, pal. My country deposed the Taliban and has killed (my favorite method) or arrested the vast majority of the Al Qaedistas, deposed the Regime in Iraq and is helping establish democracy there, convinced Libya and N. Korea to give-up their nuke weapons programs, enlisted the support of Pakistan (previously hostile to the USA) in killing Al Qaedistas, ...

... And did it all without French assistance and despite the frantic efforts for capitulation by the Surrender Party and their ilk everywhere.

Maybe in some dream of yours. There are more Al-Qaedistas today than there were on 9-12, and their leader is alive and well and apparently in Pakistan. Same with the Taliban. And we are providing for their training and in some cases now, the budget for their operations.

I do applaud the progress in North Korea, even if the neocons in the administration find it chickenshit of Bush and Rice to have used diplomacy instead of being goaded into another shootout at the ok corral by some two bit dictator from a third world country. And that, Bot, is what gets me pissed off - having anyone and everyone on Earth with leaders who can out-think ours.

Great dream you are having Bot. Thanks for sharing. Jim

I thought Shock and Awe was an official policy sanctioned event. I could be mistaken, maybe it was a rogue raid authorized by Rumsfeld alone.

As for rape, well Bot, just because it isn't part of "official policy" doesn't mean when it happens we are not guilty. We are trying to establish order in Iraq and can't even maintain order over our own troops. I think the lack of sufficient troops to do the job was another official policy of our lackluster leader though.

I believe there was a time when we were assisting Saddam with his acquisition of chemical weapons. Or is that something you apply the "don't ask - don't tell" philosophy to and ignore ever happened?

If all the world can distinguish you from the bad guys is a bunch of "official policy" bullshit and your actions have an equally "net" brutal effect, you take on the persona of a used car salesman in a plaid pleasure suit. The other guys are no saints but their publicity campaign is better run. They are in much greater control of their actions than we are, and they do a much better job of 'splaining how we are the bad guys. Unfortunately for us, it is working. Every Abu Graib, rape and murder by our GIs, or wedding party blown up with rockets from our helicopters and planes makes all your desperate bleating about them just sound like a sales pitch worthy of that used car salesman you know is screwing you. Mr B,
Don't go thumping your chest so quickly. This is my country too. And I care enough to speak up.

I must correct your free willy used of the word "convince". It should be "bribe". And as far as the French is concerned, along with all others, I must give them credo for being smarter than us not being fooled into this quagmire.

I don’t know how you can sum up the courage to talk about our troops jim
When it was your turn to step up the plate you ran away to Europe.
And you still want the rest to run away and surrender now.

You are damn lucky to be in this country, had it been in any other one you would have been beaten to death for calling the troops baby killers

Yeah? So be it if I have to speak the truth. Or are you denying it never happened?

Have you ever heard of a war in which civilians were uninjured? I haven't. Now prove to us how the campaign targetd civilians. Compare that to precision daylight strategic bombing during WWII by the US 8th Air Force. Get back to me when you have the facts.

There is no evidence that we ever supplied Saddam with any weapons. We did supply him with tactical intel and with suprlus communication gear. People with one of those agenda thingies like to point to agricultural production pesticede technology that we supplied Saddam. That technology can be weaponized. However, we supplied (and continue to supply) that very same technology to dozens of other countries. The same with biotechnology -- that's how you make and test antibiotics. Guess how you test antibiotics.

What happens to GI's that get caught violating the Geneva Conventions? Can you say, "Courts Martial"?

What happens to the enemy that violates the Geneva Conventions? Can you say, "Embraced by the Surrender Party"?
