We went to Afghanistan to wipe out the Al Qaeda training camps, and we went to Iraq to cut them off at the pass as the rats ran from the sinking ship--Afghanistan. See the difference?

Osama could not have said it better! Why don't you go hide out in his cave w/ him? The two of you should get along famously...

FTL question was, and is, did we truly defeat the Taliban? Why don't you answer that?

And no, we did not defeat them in a month. They simply withdrew back to herding mountain goats so they can fight for another day.

Do some homework instead of drinking Kool-aide.

You do have bird's eye view, don't you?

Both missions are an utter failure. Fool.

What happened, you all forget those speeches you used to cheer and quote about "with us or agin' us" and "those who shelter terrorists will be treated the same as the terrorists" (actually, I guess ignoring Pakistan's role in supporting Ossamma and the Taliban sort of fits since he is ignoring the Taliban and Ossamma being enveloped in the quagmire of Iraq). No, Ossamma will be real concerned when the Dems take control as his association with the House of Saud will no longer serve him. Jim
The only thing Osama, and the dems, are looking forward to is President Bush's last day in office... Won't they be surprised when the Republican's retake the White House and Congress... I can hear OBL and the dems now... "Oui vey..."

YES! We defeated the Taliban. Which is why they are living in caves and running out, throwing a few rocks, and running back into the hills. The "winners" don't retreat to caves in the mountains, you idiot!!
