Jaysquawk has about as much capability to win an argument requiring intellect as a one legged man has of winning an arse kicking contest.

He hasn't changed him mind or his policies and that is what seems to piss you lefties off the most. After six years of screaming mean things about him, w/ the drive-by media in tow, you've managed to eventually get the polls to buy your bull shit. Everyones tired of war and wants it to end, BUT we did not start this war. If our President, however, has his way WE WILL WIN IT! So get over it.
Congratulations. Great to see you finally come clean and admit your entire political outlook is framed by the view you have peering past George's hemmorrhoids when you are allowed to pop your head out of his rectum. We can now dismiss your claims of being a conservative as just more of the Party BS. Remember, there is a light at the end of that tunnel! Jim

Wouldn't you say his chances have improved of late, or are they still in dklein?

Let me see...

1. You like to spend money on unproductive wars
2. You think there is a conspiracy in the media
3. You think there is a whole group out to get you
4. You think changing your mind is a sign of weakness
5. You think nothing of deficit spending

Answer:

You are no conservative. You are quite liberal in your spending, you think there are tons of people who mean you harm, and you want your gov't to protect you at all costs. You are a liberal my friend.

His chance of winning has only improved if the party with whom he argues is dklein himself. However, with dklein rapidly established as the dumbest contributor in OT, there is bound to be some squabbling between Jayhawk, guage and BruceR for the pecking-order thereafter. It should be fun anyway.

Wow, I was unaware of just how little you think of dklein, or how he deserves such a unique position of dishonor on the BWOT. I mean, the others on the list have worked long and hard for years to be distinguished by their thoroughly misguided and meaningless drivel. How could dklein be so effective and displace the likes of Jaybaugh, guage and BruceR at the bottom of the heap in such a short time? Jim

To anwer your question, a personal illustrative anecdote:

At my first job in The City, after lunch a group of we traders were waiting on the ground floor for the elevator to arrive when the comapany Chairman appeared with his important lunch guest, the late Roland 'Tiny' Rowland of Lonrho. He remarks that he heard (Berisford) had some bright young talent on board. Marg (our gov) looks around and replies, yes we do have some clever buggers, some of them can read and some of them can write.
When the elevator reached the second floor, the doors opened and our rapier-like Oxford grad in-house corporate lawyer dived in. Marg points to him and says, "See him, he's a really clever bugger he is. He can read and write".
