I'm not about to stoop to the mentality of the kartoon korner kids to make a positive point about our duly elected President of the United States.

Ok, but you must admit that he is a representative of the people that elected him, no? or is it the other way around?

Yes! He represents us--just like parents represent and protect their children. I've never taken a poll to decide what to do for my kids. I am in the best position to decide that based on my advanced knowledge and experience w/ any and all situations.

Make a note...

Summarize it! I have neither the time nor the inclination to read your silly homework assignments.

The words "fascist stooge" come to mind. Tell your dad to go fuck himself.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

Regardless of how he got there the issue today is that he didn't bring much, and the office is pretty much a hollow shell if there is no person to fill it. In other words, if the person who is President at the moment was without any qualifications related to performing the duties of being President before that person became President, it is highly likely they will not be very good at performing the responsibilities of the Office of President of the United States. Such is the case with Bush. You and others who share your outlook fail to realize most of us you call Bush-haters don't really hate him on a personal level, and are willing to concede on a personal level he may be an ok guy to bullshit with over a beer in a bar. But like so many of the people sitting in bars bullshitting, he is not qualified to be President. And it is his failures while running around posturing as the President that we hate, since every failure is contributing to the erosion of America's beliefs in its founding principles and the erosion of good will earned by over two hundred years of demonstrating by example how to be good citizens in the world community. Bush and his team of Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld, Brown, and other lazy, arrogant, underachievers are just plain bad for America. Jim

So you see yourself as a child succumbing to the will of daddy Bush. Did you feel the same way toward our previous president?
