Bush is simply the latest channel for liberal hate.

The idea that the country is in line with the FTLbots on this forum is a fantasy.

The left will oppose anything that smells like American Exceptionalism. To the point of suicide. It is their nature.
Actually, the left is infatuated with American exceptionalism, it just doesn't think the stink of lying and trampling on the Constitution, murdering hundreds of thousands of innocent human beings, and blindly supporting a pattern of bungling, misinterpreting and misrepresenting the situation they created in Iraq under false pretenses smells like anything other than the bullshit it actually is. To notice the stink of rotting feces that is the present administration's policies, strategies and planning for Iraq, one must pull one's head out of the administration's ass long enough to rezero one's olifactory sensors with fresh air. Hehehe, Jim. It's been my experience that the "conservative" folks assume that all others must be like them, and oppose Bush for the same reasons they hated Clinton.

I don't understand how anyone can admire Mr. Reagan, and not loathe Bush 43.

Yawn. "Nobody" is implied to be a growing majority; yes it's hyperbole, but so what?

Headline news locally today was all about a Japanese whaler with a fire onboard down near Antarctica, and a Member of Parliament (NZ) who has resigned from his political party.
News from Baghdad is usually about some more car bombs blowing up (about 10 tv seconds), brief crap about the Grammys, and between the ads - was some filler about that silly bitch with big tits who married a fossil, but now they're both dead...but her surviving babys Daddy is ?..................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Bush isn't even being reported.

Do you honestly think defeating USSR is such a good thing?

This is a history Bush should have reflected upon. The fragmented USSR appears to be more problematic than when it was one country. Maybe the Liberals are smarter, not just hate.

Bush copies everything Reagan did, from Immigration to fiscal issues. Remember what a mass Reagan left? Or do you think it was a good thing too?

Yes, it was a good thing. Perhaps you don't recall all the bunkers and bomb shelters people were building in their yards, or the Tuesday morning air-raid sirens. The dismantling of the USSR meant the elimination of the last serious threat to life in the U.S. (except for the omnipotent Iraq, of course).

I really have a hard time accepting the USSR as a "leftist" state, in fact a lot of people in the American Left throughout the 20th Century did as well. It may
have started out as a socialist experiment, but it ended up as a fascist dictatorship that delivered a good life only to an elite set of people, just like we are becoming.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.
