Knee Replacements?

Just interested whether anyone on here has had or personally knows someone who has had a complete knee replacement in the last few years, say since 2003. I know going back they often sucked...

I may be heading towards that myself, so I'm just kind of wondering what the rehab was like, eventual outcomes, activities afterwards, etc.

Thanks!

My mother did and it went swimmingly. She was out of the hos. in three days, and walking well enough in less than two weeks. She is in her seventies, please keep this in mind. All in all there have been genuine advan. in this field in the last 30 years. My fiance had a replacement 20 years ago and she was messed up for a month, and it never did completely take. She was 20 years old. Of course things vary so much from person to person.
