March 2007 Scientific American Article on New Diesels

Great article in the latest Scientific American on MB's E320 and other advanced, clean Diesels. Nice to see a positive assessment of modern Diesel engine technology and fuels. Jim

The key in the US is low sulfur fuel.

I am looking forward to a sports sedan with 500 foot pounds of torque and a CVT...that gets 30 to 40mpg on the highway. Massive power on demand at any speed.

That will happen with diesel.

Biodiesel is zero sulfur.
