Much of New York state has had seven feet of snow already, with some areas getting more than 100" of snowfall this week with more on the way. The cold snap that blanketed the U.S. from Minnesota to New York is responsible for 20 deaths - some in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Maryland, Wisconsin as well as New York.
If only there was something we could do to raise the temperature of the globe and save lives...

Are you purposely misunderstanding the effects of global warming, or do you really think that every spot on the globe will warm?
Well step aside, Al Gore! That's one of the most stupefying things I've ever heard on the subject. Why the hell else would they call it "global warming"?
If it's 'regional warming', that would certainly explain why we feel it to be warmer in the U.S. (except New York of course which is buried in upwards of 9' of snow this week, and even though the U.S. is uniquely experiencing urban sprawl and it's been demonstrated that heavily populated / developed areas retain more heat than rural areas), yet the pesky Arctic ice cap keeps on growing (contrary to alarmist assertions).

Wow, you really are that stupid then. Just about anyone knows that the effects of global warming are not uniform. The one regional effect you can count on is that the climate will change.

I blame Bush. He should have seen this coming for the last 100 years and done something about it like make a movie. We should impeach.
