Hahaha-the joys of driving a 15 year old 1.7 tonne tank.
One of my kids is off skiing to Val D'Isere today, so of course I offered to drive her to the airport. But Britain being Britain, today we had the heaviest snowfall for years and there was 'traffic chaos' reported on all the media. I get out on the streets and they are full of puffs in little cars skating around (most with no lights on) worried about a scratch or a dent. Without exception, they see my 126 bowling up behind or towards them, they stopped dead in their tracks-I can't remember the last time I had so much fun driving around London.
I love it, I even intimidated a couple of 'white van men' today.
I got my girl to the airport in record time and I think she was first at the check-in.
Thank-you for the weather baby Jesus!
